My name is Leonard Gryskewicz, I graduated cum laude from Wilkes University, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in political science and with minors in history and international relations. During college I was a member of the Wilkes University Pre-Law Society and took many classes to prepare for law school.
After college, I attended Albany Law School of Union University in Albany New York. While in law school, I was the Executive Editor for Notes and Comments for Albany Law Review, Volume 78. I also was active with moot court competitions and was an Editor for the New York State Bar Association Environmental Lawyer Publication. I graduated from Albany Law School magna cum laude in May 2015.
I began to practice law after passing the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bar exams and being admitted to practice law in October 2015. Since then, I have represented clients charged with serious crimes throughout NEPA and also litigated cases concerning civil rights, bankruptcy, and consumer protection issues. I have litigated cases in Federal and State courts and always strive to achieve my client’s goals in any litigation.
I also enjoy representing individuals in civil rights claims against the government and representing criminal defendants. As an advocate for individuals wronged by the government or accused of crimes, it is my job to make sure that the rights and liberties provided by the United States Constitution and Pennsylvania Constitution are upheld and honored. When I was sworn in as an attorney, I took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. By protecting people from civil rights violations and providing defendants with the best possible defense, I am carrying out that oath to the best of my ability.
I always try to be accessible to my clients when I am handling their cases. If you have questions about your case or if you have a different legal problem, I make myself available to speak either by phone, email or in person. It is important that you stay informed with the progress of your case. It is your case after all. I will fight for you and work diligently to accomplish your goals and get you the result that you deserve.
"[Attorney Gryskewicz] was very thorough, clear and committed in his practices."
